Preventative Maintenance plan details

SPRING VISIT

  1. Hot water cylinder/califont check - condition of valves, safety devices, etc. Any servicing and valve replacement will attract an extra cost but we will coordinate with you prior to doing anything extra, always

  2. Check roof space and under house for leaks, mould, damp or other developing problems - Supply overview pictures to act as a yearly reference of the condition of you roof space, roof and underfloor.

  3. Check condition of all soil and supply piping - Check condition of piping, we will supply photos of all connections so to have a yearly reference to degradation, discolouration, developing issues etc. Any fixes required will attract an extra cost, but we will coordinate with you prior to doing anything extra, always.

  4. Check all internal fixtures and fittings for serviceability, leaks, signs of distress or failure - Supply pictures of each connection, check condition of all supply lines, traps and waste lines, seals, tap filter clear from debris etc.

  5. Gas safety check (if applicable) - check for leaks in gas supply - leaks will have to be investigated fully and will attract extra cost, but we will coordinate with you prior to doing anything extra, always.

  6. Change water filter (if applicable) - we can change your water filter at zero labour cost, as we are already there. Cost of filter/s not included in Preventative Maintenance Plan.

  7. Check for signs of vermin and infestation - Rats and mice can make a mess of your water piping, it is better to get onto exterminating them early. We can provide contacts of reputable pest controllers if required.

  8. We will check your piping for it’s susceptibility for Legionella propagation

AUTUMN VISIT

  1. Hot water cylinder/califont check - condition of valves, safety devices, etc. Any servicing and valve replacement will attract an extra cost but we will coordinate with you prior to doing anything extra, always(manufacturer recommendation every six months)

  2. Roof check and spouting clean to be ready for the winter rain - Entirety of your spouting will be cleared and cleaned of debris, we will check your roof for developing issues, and provide pictures and a report. We will check performance by ensuring water can drain at a good rate.

  3. Clean channel drains, down pipes, silt traps and other storm water catchment areas of debris

  4. CCTV storm water line to check it is clear, up to the council line. Will provide photos, videos and location of any issues or developing issues. Sometimes if you are running a syphoning system, or due to the lay of the pipe it is not possible to cctv the pipe from our usual entry points.

VISIT THREE

One free emergency any time call out per year

The first hour is free.

After hours and public holidays, we will isolate the issue as a minimum service, however we carry plenty of stock on our vehicles, so we can often fix problems there and then (parts and additional labour extra)
