A plumbing emergency can cost a lot and leave your house and possessions with significant damage. The best way to reduce the risk of this happening to you is a preventative maintenance plan for your home that covers your plumbing, roofing, stormwater, gas and drainage. It will help pick up developing problems and maintenance requirements early on while they are still easy to fix.

If ordered separately, the services would cost over $1000. It includes two maintenance visits per year, at a mutually convenient time, and 1 any-time emergency callout. (see details)

Spring visit

  1. Hot water cylinder/califont check (manufacturer recommendation every six months)

  2. Check roof space and under house for leaks, mould, damp or other developing problems

  3. Check condition of all soil and supply piping

  4. Check all internal fixtures and fittings for serviceability, leaks, signs of distress or failure

  5. Gas safety check (if applicable)

  6. Change water filter (if applicable, see details)

  7. Check for signs of vermin and infestation.

  8. Legionella check

Autumn visit

  1. Hot water cylinder/califont check (manufacturer recommendation every six months)

  2. Roof check and spouting clean to be ready for the winter rain

  3. Clean channel drains, down pipes, silt traps and other storm water catchment areas of debris

  4. CCTV storm water line to check it is clear (if able, see details).
